Refund and Returns Policy

At Rossmax South Africa, your satisfaction and peace of mind are important to us. We are committed to supplying high-quality medical devices. Should you need to return a product, please review the policy below to ensure a smooth and fair process.

1. General Returns Policy

Due to the hygienic and clinical nature of medical products, returns will only be accepted under the following conditions:

  • The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
  • The return is requested within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  • A valid invoice number is provided.
  • The product was purchased directly from www.rossmaxsa.co.za. (Returns for items purchased via other sales channels will not be accepted.)

Once returned, the item will be inspected before a replacement unit is issued. Refunds or repairs are not offered.
Please note: Products that have been opened or used cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons, unless found to be faulty.

2. Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive a damaged or faulty product, please notify us within 7 days of receipt by emailing info@rossmaxsa.co.za with the following:

  • Your invoice number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos or videos of the fault or damage

Step 1: Troubleshooting
Upon receiving your email, our first step will be to assist you with basic troubleshooting to rule out any user error or simple fix.
If the issue persists after troubleshooting, we will assess the fault and arrange for a replacement unit where applicable.
Courier costs related to faulty or damaged returns will be covered by us.

3. Warranty-Related Issues

Rossmax devices carry a manufacturer’s warranty (duration varies by product type). If a product becomes faulty within the warranty period, please contact us with your invoice. We’ll assess the issue and provide a replacement, if deemed necessary under warranty.
Please note: Calibration is excluded from warranty coverage. It is a separate, paid-for service.

4. Items That Cannot Be Returned

For hygiene, safety, or regulatory reasons, the following items are non-returnable, unless faulty:

  • Opened or used medical devices
  • Consumables such as nebuliser accessories, air filters, or tubing
  • Products with broken seals

5. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us via email at info@rossmaxsa.co.za or call us on +27 10 430 0275
  2. We will attempt to troubleshoot the issue remotely before approving a return
  3. If the fault persists, we will issue a return authorisation
  4. You may then courier the product to our head office (unless arranged by us in the case of faults)
