Cardiovascular
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a class of diseases that involve the heart or blood vessels. Cardiovascular disease includes coronary artery diseases (CAD) such as angina and myocardial infarction (commonly known as a heart attack). Other CVDs include stroke, heart failure, hypertensive heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, cardiomyopathy, heart arrhythmia, congenital heart disease, valvular heart disease, carditis, aortic aneurysms, and many more.

Prevent the risk of cardio disease and stroke by early detection of atrial fibrillation, premature contraction, tachycardia and bradycardia. Cardiac disorders need medical attention and thus early diagnosis is of paramount importance. The PARR technology detects arrhythmia during regular blood pressure checks without any additional user skills, user interaction and measurement prolongation.

Atrial Fibrillation Detection (AFib)
Atrial fibrillation (also called AFib or AF) is a quivering or irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) that can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure and other heart-related complications. AFib is a serious condition that can occur without any signs or symptoms but can result in life-threatening complications if left untreated.

Premature Contraction Detection (PC)
A premature contraction can originate in your heart’s upper (atria) or lower (ventricles) chambers. With this “extra” beat, a pause usually causes your next normal heartbeat to be more forceful. Premature beats that start in your heart’s upper chambers are premature atrial contractions, or PACs. Those that start in the lower chambers are premature ventricular contractions, or PVCs. Infrequently, premature contractions can be caused by disease or injury to the heart.

Tachycardia Detection (TACH)
Fast heart rate of more than 100 beats per minute (BPM) in adults. Unless being caused by physical or mental stress, indicator for cardiac and extra-cardiac disorders (e.g. coronary heart disease, hyperthyroidism, fever).

Bradycardia Detection (BRAD)
Slow heart rate, heart rate of less than 55 beats per minute in adults. Unless caused by endurance training heart adaption, bradycardia may be related to a multitude of cardiac and extra cardiac disorders (e.g. electrolyte imbalance, medication, coronary and / or valvular heart disease).

PARR Technology has been developed in close partnership by the renowned German Forschungsinstitut für klinische Medizintechnik (FIMT)
Arteriosclerosis
Arteriosclerosis is the thickening, hardening and loss of elasticity of the walls of arteries. This process gradually restricts the blood flow to one’s organs and tissues and can lead to severe health risks brought on by atherosclerosis, which is a specific form of arteriosclerosis caused by the buildup of fatty plaques, cholesterol, and some other substances in and on the artery walls.

ACT (Artery Check Technology) analysis the pulse and SpO2 signals and determines the actually prevailing stiffness of the artery (Artery Condition). ACT further comprehensively classifies the arterial condition into 6 levels and presents the result by an intuitive graphical visualisation. Pulse rate, SpO2 and the artery condition are available at your fingertip!

Artery Condition Detection
Artery condition is associated with the potential presence of the following diseases: Arteriosclerosis, Peripheral circulation disorder, A wide range of cardiovascular diseases. Monitoring your arterial constriction condition with Rossmax ACT-embedded Pulse Oximeter allows an early risk assessment for wide-spread clinical cardiovascular disorders. By this non-invasive technique both, the progression as well as the actual status of pathological arterial perfusion is recognized. In addition, Rossmax offers the PARR Technology for Blood Pressure Monitors, which is a world unique stroke screening technology by distinction of pulse arrhythmia. Together with ACT Rossmax offers the total solution to monitor your health and evaluate most severe risk factors.
Atherosclerosis
Atherosclerosis is a disease in which plaque builds up inside your arteries. Arteries are blood vessels that carry oxygen-rich blood to your heart and other parts of your body. Plaque is made up of fat, cholesterol, calcium, and other substances found in the blood.
Peripheral vascular disease (PVD)
Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) is a blood circulation disorder that causes the blood vessels outside of your heart and brain to narrow, block, or spasm. This can happen in your arteries or veins. PVD typically causes pain and fatigue, often in your legs, and especially during exercise.
Cardiovascular disease
Cardiovascular disease generally refers to conditions that involve narrowed or blocked blood vessels that can lead to a heart attack, chest pain (angina) or stroke. Other heart conditions, such as those that affect your heart’s muscle, valves or rhythm, also are considered forms of heart disease.
Fever
Fever is one of the body’s defence mechanisms. When bacteria or viruses get into your body and cause it to malfunction, the body goes on the defensive and your immune system is activated. When this happens, a central nerve in the brain allows the heat generated inside the body to be turned up from the usually constant level. This higher temperature level increases the metabolism and prevents the increase of pathogenic agents.

The patented “PLUG & SECURE” probe covers are very durable, ideal for multiple use and offer an easy and accurate ear temperature measurement. Users can easily assure the probe cover is attached and the appliance is ready to use. The well-designed heat insulation probe can ensure accurate, consistent reading and short interval between each measurement.
Continuous Scanning Mode
The continuous ear scanning mode views the entire ear canal and looks for the highest temperature that can be detected. Simply press and hold the start button for 3 seconds, gently rotate the probe inside the ear canal in a circular manner and the most accurate reading will appear.
Contact Free Probe Cover Replacement Design
Easy to replace a new ear probe cover before each measurement without touching the probe cover film to avoid cross-contamination.
Diabetes
Diabetes mellitus (DM), commonly known as diabetes, is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by high blood sugar levels over a prolonged period. Symptoms of high blood sugar include frequent urination, increased thirst, and increased hunger. If left untreated, diabetes can cause many complications. Acute complications can include diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperosmolar hyperglycemic state, or death. Serious long-term complications include cardiovascular disease, stroke, chronic kidney disease, foot ulcers, and damage to the eyes.

The GDH-FAD test strips can eliminate interference from oxygen variations and non-glucose sugar such as maltose and galactose, providing you with the most reliable and accurate results.
Enzyme | GDH-FAD | GDH-PQQ | GOD |
Affected by Oxygen | No | No | Yes |
Affected by Galactose | No | Yes | No |
Affected by Maltose | No | Yes | No |

Type 1 Diabetes
Type 1 diabetes is characterized by loss of the insulin-producing beta cells of the pancreatic islets, leading to insulin deficiency. This type can be further classified as immune-mediated or idiopathic. The majority of type 1 diabetes is of the immune-mediated nature, in which a T cell-mediated autoimmune attack leads to the loss of beta cells and thus insulin. It causes approximately 10% of diabetes mellitus cases in North America and Europe.
Type 2 Diabetes
Type 2 diabetes is characterized by insulin resistance, which may be combined with relatively reduced insulin secretion. The defective responsiveness of body tissues to insulin is believed to involve the insulin receptor. However, the specific defects are not known. Diabetes mellitus cases due to a known defect are classified separately. Type 2 diabetes is the most common type of diabetes mellitus.
Alternative Site Testing (AST)
Rossmax’ Lancing Device provides you Alternative Sites Testing (with optional Cap). This system provides you to test on the palm and the forearm with the equivalent results to fingertip testing. Physiological differences in the circulation between the finger and other test sites like the forearm and palm may result in differences in blood glucose measurements from the other test sites and your fingertips. Changes in blood glucose may be observed in finger blood samples sooner than blood samples from the forearm and other alternative sites. Just remember: any time you want to be sure of an accurate, up-to-date blood glucose reading, test on your fingertip.
RESPIRATORY
Respiratory disease is a medical term that encompasses pathological conditions affecting the organs and tissues that make gas exchange possible in higher organisms, and includes conditions of the upper respiratory tract, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles, alveoli, pleura and pleural cavity, and the nerves and muscles of breathing. Respiratory diseases range from mild and self-limiting, such as the common cold, to life-threatening entities like bacterial pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, acute asthma and lung cancer

Valve Adjustable Technology
The proprietary adjustable valve is able to deliver medications of different viscosity level according to every user’s conditions and needs at ease. Our VAT technology allows users to adjust different levels of nebulization rate ranging from 0.08-0.50 ml/min at consistent particle size. The nebulization rates can be adjusted by the user in a very easy way without exchanging parts.
Efficient Respiratory
Utilizing the new technologies to improve the management and treatment of asthma, COPD and other respiratory conditions. With nebulizer systems, patients have the ability to effectively manage and treat their respiratory condition anywhere, anytime.
Asthma
Asthma becomes apparent by frequent, spasmodic gasping for air and wheezing. As with chronic bronchitis, the bronchi are inflamed and obstructed with phlegm while the cilia are conglutinated. The respiratory passages also respond to certain stimuli with muscular spasms, often caused by allergens such as pollen or house dust, but also stress and environmental pollution.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a type of obstructive lung disease characterized by long-term poor airflow. The main symptoms include shortness of breath and cough with sputum production. COPD is a progressive disease, meaning it typically worsens over time. Eventually everyday activities, such as walking up stairs, become difficult. Chronic bronchitis and emphysema are older terms used for different types of COPD.
